Northview Hospital Manchester

Summit Marine Scaffolding Ltd worked in partnership with VINCI Construction as part of the Integrated Health Projects (IHP) joint venture between VINCI Building and Sir Robert McAlpine to deliver comprehensive access scaffolding solutions for the Northview Hospital development in Manchester.

This £105 million, state-of-the-art mental health inpatient facility—located on the North Manchester General Hospital site—replaces the former Park House and represents a significant investment in modern, sustainable healthcare infrastructure.

Completed and fully operational in November 2024, Northview Hospital provides 150 single en-suite bedrooms across nine single-sex wards, including a Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). The facility has been designed to set a new benchmark in sustainability and patient care, being the first all-electric mental health unit in the UK.
