Project Win Kier Construction

Summit Marine Scaffolding is proud to be supporting Kier Construction in the delivery of the Ministry of Justice’s (MoJ) Small Secure Houseblocks Programme (SSHP) at HMP Lancaster Farms. This major expansion forms part of the UK government’s initiative to increase prison capacity while providing modern, efficient, and secure facilities.

Under the programme, Kier has been awarded contracts worth around £250 million to expand HMP Northumberland and HMP Lancaster Farms. The works include the construction of four new houseblocks, site-wide infrastructure improvements, and upgrades to ancillary facilities.

As a trusted access partner to Kier Construction, Summit Marine Scaffolding has been engaged to deliver specialist scaffolding and access solutions to support the safe and efficient construction of the new houseblocks and supporting infrastructure.
